What is Ultrasonic Cavitation?
Ultrasonic Cavitation is a non-invasive technique which emits ultrasonic waves to cause what are known as cavitations (tiny bubbles) in fatty tissue.
It is an effective, non-surgical treatment that reduces body fat and cellulite in selected body areas, safely and it is completely painless.
Due to the specific ultrasound parameters of the energy levels, only the fat cells will be targeted and all surrounding cells and organs are unaffected. The cavitation uses low frequency ultrasound waves which are conducted through the skin to the fatty layer below which emulsifies (is broken up into a liquid substance) for the body process naturally.
Ultrasound cavitation stimulates the release of fat, in the form of triglycerides, by the fat cells (adipocytes). These triglycerides are taken up by the lymphatic vessels and the veins and end up in various body tissues (such as the muscles) where they can be burned (oxidized) for energy and are then simply and naturally eliminated from the body through urine. (It is therefore essential to drink plenty of water during your course of treatments to assist the body with this process).
Cavitation is an excellent treatment for customers that want to reshape the body to achieve cellulite reduction and fat loss for areas with localized fat such as:
- Lower back
N.B Cavitation can be combined with Multipolar Radio Frequency for the perfect “Lift & Tuck.
How does it work?
The hand piece that we apply to the skin transmits low-level ultrasonic waves, which consist of compression and expansion. The compression and expansion cycles travel at high-speed that causes many micro-bubbles to gradually enlarge. As these micro-bubbles expand and contract the shock waves to the fat cells can no longer endure the pressure and explode. The fat explodes into liquid that is then easily removed from the body by the lymphatic and urinary system.
Is Ultrasonic Cavitation Painless and safe?
Yes, Cavitation is a painless, safe treatment. Mild redness may appear occasionally but is highly unlikely to cause any pain. Treatment is a nonsurgical procedure without anaesthesia – it’s non-invasive and no downtime should be experienced after the treatment.
Fat is a solid substance – How can it be eliminated through urine?
Because Cavitation causes the fat cells to turn into liquid (emulsification). This makes it easier to leave the body through the lymphatic and urinary system.
How many sessions are needed?
Two - three sessions per week are ideal over a course of three - four weeks. Some may prefer to have just one session per week.
How long is a session?
Depending on the size of area, a typical treatment would take between 30-60 mins.

- Non-invasive treatment
- No need for hospitalisation or anaesthesia
- No scars or marking of the skin
- No pain
- Elimination of the fat through a natural process
